And every teemer that teemeth upon the land is an abomination; eat it not.

42

Everything going upon its underside,1 and everything going upon all fours, unto everything with abundant feet, to every teemer that teemeth upon the land, no eating ye them, in that an abomination are they.

43

Abominate ye not your lifebreaths2 with any teemer that teemeth, and defile not yourselves with them, and ye be defiled with them,

44

in that I am Yahweh your God; and hallow yourselves and be ye holy, in that holy am I; and defile not your lifebreaths with any teemer that crawleth upon the land.
