Genesis 18
1
And Yahweh made seen to him by the oaks of Mamre, and he dwelt at the opening of the tent for the heat of the day.
2
And he ‹bore up› his eyes and saw, and lo: three men posted over him. And he saw, and he ran to meet them from the opening of the tent, and ·he prostrated to the land,
3
and he said, “My lord, if, pray, I have found grace in thine eyes, let thee not, pray, cross from upon thy servant.
4
Let, pray, a little water be taken, and wash your1 feet, and lean yourselves2 beneath the tree,
5
and I will take a morsel of bread, and ye buttress your hearts; afterwards ye shall cross, for upon so have ye crossed over to your servant.” And they said, “So do, as that thou hast spoken.”
12
Sarah laughed in her inwards, saying, “After I am ‹worn out› will I have pleasure, and my lord is old?”
