“And now, Yahweh my god, thou hast kinged thy servant instead of David my father, and I am a little lad; I know not to go forth and come in,

and thy servant is in the middle of thy people that thou hast chosen, a people abundant that cannot be numbered and counted from abundance—

9

and give for thy servant a heart that hears, to judge thy people, to divide between good and bad, ‹in› that who is able to judge this, thy weighty people?”

And the thing was good in the eyes of the Lord, that Shlomo had asked this thing.
